Rags to Riches...

... Perhaps I won't get my hair chopped.

Absolutely gorgeous!!! And OK, maybe not rags to riches, but the bob was looking a bit straggly and undefined. I had to post this since it caught my attention more than most posts I've seen today. Embrace the change! It's good for all of us once in a while.

Bittersweet When it's Out With the Old...

NYC winters bring out some of the best individualistic styles. The frigid air calls for layering and some funky, sweet materpeices. However, the high boots and long peacoats can only do the job for so long.

I will be sad to see this look go once the hot weather hits... however...

After I feel the real spring air, I'll be searching for a lot less legging and a lot more leg. . .

Natale's Hot Spring Images 2009

Black is eternally my color. I love a bright, standout outfit, but it can be said that black can look as springy as anything else, if worn the right way. So... since I will be storing my warmer winter black pieces, I realize my sudden urge to replace them with these rad spring '09 TopShop pieces.
Something to look forward to..? Paycheck, where are you?!

Hope everyone enjoys a Happy St. Patty's Day!

I was covering this event for a long-time friend's website, Fame Game. Although I was supposed to be the photographer for the night, it seems I got in just as many pictures as I took ;) It was the first time Roberta and I met after attending some of her events, so we were excited to finally meet.. And therefore managed to sneak in a few pictures together, compliments of Brian.

If you're in the NYC area, take a look at some of the events hosted by dateinthecity. Roberta is very active with her shows and tries to not only attend, but sponsor as many of these events as possible. It is always for a great cause and if you are looking to do something productively active, it is a unique networking tool!

Still introducing me-self

This is why I love nyc. Where else can 3 musical artists, a great charity, 2 fashion shows and a room full of quote-unquote, single professionals fit into an asian lounge-type room at "Taj"? Jen was photographing/promoting this event for famegame on Friday and we did not really know what to expect. It was interesting that there were so many different parties involved - I say it was successful. However, sadly, we did miss the open martini bar. All in all, I'd say my brother and Alex had a fun visit and this was the start to their first weekend in the city:)

Obama 2009

Two words, Barack Obama. 2009. This man is more than a president, he is a symbol for change, innovation, wit, intelligence, strength, inspiration. Whatever he symbolizes for you, it is safe to say we need change and it looks as though he has already helped raise care in our everyday citizen.

People seem to be joining a cause. That is all that matters.. people are beginning to care once again and the numbing carelessness that has surrounded Americans in the past few years seems to be diminishing. I thought I'd share some of my thoughts on this very historic week and embrace the new office. Let's hope for some positive changes in the next year. I know New York City is bumpin right now.. everyone seems to have a little bit more of a hop in their step. So, I'll leave my first post with one of my favorite quotes..

"Not everybody can be famous but everybody can be great because greatness is determined by service. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve. You don't have to know about Plato and Aristotle to serve. You don't have to know Einstein's theory of relativity to serve. You don't have to know the second theory of thermodynamics and physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace and a soul generated by love." - Martin Luther King Jr.
